The Hon Ryan James Smith (born 2 April 1969) is the Liberal State Member for the seat of Warrandyte
in Victoria, Australia. He is a member of the Legislative Assembly
in Victorian Parliament.
In November 2009 Ryan was promoted to the front bench in the role of Shadow Minister for Industrial Relations and Manufacturing.
Following the Liberal/ National Coalition victory in the 2010 Victorian State Election, Ryan was appointed as Minister for Environment & Climate Change and the Minister for Youth Affairs.
The Hon. Ryan Smith is an extremely hard working and well liked local member and is very dedicated to his portfolio's and hopes to make a real difference.
Before entering the Victorian Parliament, Ryan had 18 years experience working in the finance sector and was a Manager in Institutional Banking Service and Sales at a leading Australian bank. He is married to wife Avril and has a son Brodie and daughter Jaime.
