He also won the silver medal in relay at the 1978 European Championships
together with Jerzy Włodarczyk, Zbigniew Jaremski and Cezary Łapiński. In relay at the 1982 European Championships
the Polish team finished fifth. The team was also disqualified in the final at the 1983 World Championships.
