In May 2009, Sky Brazil launched its first 10 HDTV
channels in 1080i
resolution (with the exception of ESPN HD
, which broadcasts in 720p
). Currently (September 2011), Sky Brazil has 39 channels in HDTV in total (note: Sex Zone HD is optional).
