. Planned to have a 5 level mall area, 2 level and a rooftop parking area. The mall is located on V. Tomico and Consuji Sts. Brgy. Sto. Rosario, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The mall is expected to be finished before December, and expected to be opened on December 2011.
The proposal of SM City San Fernando became controversial, when Mr. Ivan Henares, the Vice President of the Heritage Conservation Society, and at the same time, Chairman of the Tourism department in the City, opposed the floor count, the location, and the design of the SM City San Fernando because the location of the mall is on the Heritage District of San Fernando, Pampanga. And at the same time, the height of the SM City San Fernando is little higher than the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando
