This limited company
was founded in 1999 by Sam Hurt and Jude Biddulph. Both graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London in 1996. Following a chance meeting as postgraduates they exchanged ideas and established a similar career direction resulting in a mutual agreement to collaborate their work. They moved into a North London squat and from there they began to produce prototypes and establish the rudiments of supply and distribution. The partnership proved a success and their hard work and commitment rewarded them with growth in productivity
. In 2002 they moved into offices in London's East End, but not before the police raided their base.
Since then the company has continued to develop their brand and have received recognition from various awarding bodies exhibiting design pieces under the Coin Street Community Builders
