Encyclopedia
SUNIST, the abbreviation of Sino-UNIted Spherical Tokamak, is a small spherical tokamak
Tokamak
A tokamak is a device using a magnetic field to confine a plasma in the shape of a torus . Achieving a stable plasma equilibrium requires magnetic field lines that move around the torus in a helical shape...

Alfven wave current drive experiments in spherical tokamak plasmas
Alfven wave can generate toroidal plasma current without density limits. This is very favourable for spherical tokamak plasmas, which have very high dielectric constants that makes LHCD or ECCD very hard.
