Admission

Sainik School Kapurthala, is a school for students of 6 to 12 grade. It is a purely boys school. Only the daughters of the staff of the school can be admitted to the school. The admission to the school is acceptable in 6 and 9 grade only. The admission process undergoes three exams for each of the two grades. The written exam is held in the month of February each year. Approximately 2000 students participate in the entrance exam. The selected students are then called up for interview and a medical check up in the month of April-may. The final list of students is thus declared by end of may which comprises 80-120 students.
