Salem High School is a public high school
in Salem, Ohio
, USA. It is the only high school in the Salem City School district. Since 2006 the building has also housed Salem Junior High School, for grades 7 and 8, though it is administered separately from the high school. As of the 2009–2010 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 641 students with 52 teachers. The building was built in 1959. Dr. Joseph Shivers is the High School (Grades 9-12) principal, and Mr. Sean Kirkland serves as principal for the Junior High (Grades 7-8).
teams are known as the Quakers, and the school mascot is Quaker Sam. The high school has won Ohio High School Athletic Association
