Sam Cohen is an American rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Brooklyn, New York. Cohen was born in Houston, Texas, attended Berklee College of Music
in Boston, where he formed Apollo Sunshine
with Jesse Gallagher and Jeremy Black in 2001. The "neo-psychedelic/indie rock trio" released three full-length albums (spinART, Headless Heroes), earning praise from New York Times and Boston Globe.
