 and to ask him for a boon. After years and years both Parvati and Shiva appeared. Krishna asked to Lord Shiva,that you are the only one who can full fill my desire. I want a son exactly like you otherwise I don't want. Lord Shiva granted Krishna the boon. after some time Krishna's wife Jambavati gave a birth to a baby. They named him as Samba.

Reason behind the birth of Samba

Lord Krishna knew that transformation was needed and transformation must be preceded by destruction. Shiva’s function is to destroy , if he get a child exactly like Lord Shiva then the child will cause whole yadu dynasty to destroy this is why he prayed to have a son like Shiva.

Curse of Sages

one day some yadavas out of their foolishness tried to play pranks and tease the Sages. They dressed up Samba look like a woman, and asked Rishis this young woman is expecting a child and She is eager to know if she will give birth to son or a daughter. The sages who could see through the hoax felt extremely angry at this insulting behaviour of the young men and pronounced a curse on them, "O fools, she will deliver a pestle and that will be the ruin of your whole clan

Son of Bharma visits Dwaraka. he was welcomed by yadu's but Samba proud of his handsomeness didn't pay attention on him, Narada decided to teach him a lesson Narada offered alcohol to 16,100 wives of Lord Krishna and Samba. After drinking too much of alcohol, the wives of Krishna lost their senses and control. They sexually attracted towards their son Samba. Later Narada reported this to Krishna which resulted to curse Samba to suffer from leprosy in order to lose his handsomeness. and he also curse his wives that robbers will kidnap them soon after his death.
