The Navibot S line will have different versions, not all docking stations will empty the robot's dust bin.

The higher spec SR8855 has all the same features as the SR8845, but also sports the following extras:
  • Touch sensitive buttons
  • Daily Timer Schedule (SR8845 only has delay timer)
  • Quick Empty dust bin (You can insert a larger style domestic vacuum hose and vacuum out any dust in the dust bin)
  • Mirror Blue colour (SR8845 is Neutral Gray in colour)
  • The SR8855 also comes packaged with two different style of virtual fences
  • Extra brush accessories

Other Models

Samsung have the following newer models currently available to select Asian markets. They feature a slightly faster speed, a quieter dB rating, various colours and the high spec models have a revised shaped front sensor window.

TangoView

TangoView is a feature used on newer and upcoming Samsung Navibot models. TangoView uses a separate forward facing video camera and microphone which can be wirelessly streamed to computers and smartphones (through a web browser). You can also drive the Navibot through the web browser.

Reprogramming

Although there are no confirmations of hacking or reprogramming the Navibot, the main circuit board does have USB pinouts for connection to a master PC for firmware/software updating. In theory, this would allow a programmer to possibly modify the existing Windows CE

operating system, or upload a completely different system (such as Linux).
