Celebrations

Every October, a festival is held to celebrate San Rafael, patron of the town and in December there is a festival held in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

The climate in San Rafael is warm-humid with an average temperature of 35°C in summer and 18°C in winter, with rains in summer and autumn.
