Land

Roads in Sanggau are pretty narrow and not well paved due to the limitation of government budget. In certain areas, the road is in pretty poor condition with many holes and slightly muddy along the road.

Water

There are two main rivers flowing through Sanggau, they are Kapuas river and Sekayam river. Water transportation is still the main choice for people who live in villages which has not road access.
In addition, it is also used for distributing goods such as foods, medicines, etc.

Air

Sanggau used to host an airfield located about 10 km away from its capital Sanggau, the airfield has been shut down for over twenty years. The government has ever made a plan to rebuild and developing a new airport but the confirmation has not yet been announced until this time.
