Sawad Brooks is a designer and an artist. He is part of bbc art + architecture, a Finalist (first runner-up) in the World Trade Center Memorial Design Competition.

"DissemiNET," one of his interactive artworks created with artist Beth Stryker, was partly commissioned by the Wexner Center for the Arts, and is now part of the Walker Art Center's Digital Studies Collection.

He has taught at Yale University School of Architecture; Merz Akademie, Stuttgart; Parsons School of Design, New York; and has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Brown University's Department of Modern Culture and Media.
