Television series
Scarface was the leader of the blue (silver morph) fox tribe in White Deer Park. Scarface felt threatened by Fox and the Farthing Woods creatures, and so vowed to kill them all. This is not helped when the Stag asks him to give up some of his territory for the new Farthing Wood land. A further insult is added when two blue foxes are shot during a raid on a farm, and Fox and Vixen take the chickens they were carrying.Obsessed with ruling over White Deer Park, Scarface wages a war on Fox and his creatures. He purposely kills Farthing Wood animals just to spite Fox, including Mrs Vole, Mrs Hare and Mrs Rabbit. When Fox comes up with a plan for getting rid of the poachers, Scarface hears of it from his wife, who is in turn told of it by a stoat. Scarface instantly goes to find Weasel, to demand why she has not told him. Then Scarface sets about trying to ruin Fox's plan, hoping to have the red fox killed by the poachers. This backfires and Scarface end up falling through the ice into the water. He angrily predicts (quite rightly) that the poachers will return. This anger is increased when the poachers do return, and kill a blue fox.
Scarface's mate has two cubs in the spring, Bounder, and Ranger, who Scarface is delighted to find has his nose. He is confident that Ranger will aid him in his war against the red foxes.
During the war, Scarface's son Bounder is murdered by Adder who, thanks to a muddled message from the Weasels, had mistaken him for Scarface. To get revenge, Scarface bites off her tail. Scarface's other son Ranger falls in love with Charmer, Fox's daughter.
In a climatic showdown between the two tribes, Fox challenges Scarface to a duel which he accepts. There is a fierce battle with Scarface dominant and almost victorious but Fox scratches his leg, causing Scarface to howl in pain. Fox goes for his nemesis' throat and is on the verge of finishing Scarface, when he shows mercy and releases him. In revenge for losing the fight, Scarface kills Mrs. Rabbit.
Scarface sulks at his defeat and realises that his influence over White Deer Park has decreased rapidly. Scarface goes down to the river to have a drink and it is here that Adder sees her chance for revenge. As Scarface drinks in the river, Adder swims up towards his leg and bites him. Scarface howls in pain as the venom begins to kick in, Scarface realises he is finished. Scarface looks upon his killer, and sees it is Adder: the same one he earlier injured. He reminds her that he is not the last of his line, but Adder does not seem worried that he will be avenged (quite rightly, as she is never threatened by another blue fox again). As she leaves, Scarface dies.
