remix reached number 2 in the Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart. It has also been favourably reviewed by titles like GT, Mizz, Bliss and Sugar Magazine.
Her second single "Black and White", (which was released May 1) is Co-written by Alex Smith from Metrophonic (James Morrison
) and mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Snow Patrol
).
The album Medication Time, was released in June 2011, which also features the single You Don't Know My Name, co written with Grant Black and featuring a sample from the John Barry
Midnight Cowboy soundtrack. Barry also allowed Scarlette the use of Give Me A Smile, an instrumental from his 1999 album, The Beyondness Of Things, complete with lyrics by Don Black.
On September 18 Scarlette will release her third single, Elated, also produced by Julian Emery. The song has been featured as Song of the Day on Popjustice and has already been receiving plays from Ken Bruce
on Radio 2.
Scarlette has supported Girls Aloud
and Simon Webbe
, and performed at official Pride events across the UK.
Scarlette Fever supported Mike + The Mechanics on their UK tour, which started in May 2011. Playing 22 shows across the country, the 'Hit The Road Tour 2011' saw the band perform at the Royal Concert Hall on 5 May 2011.
In August 2011 it was announced Scarlette would also be supporting Roachford on his upcoming October tour.
