where he played his junior season in 1998. Clemson was ranked number one in the Country for most of the season, only losing one game. In the Atlantic Coast Conference

Project-40. In February, MLS assigned Bower to the San Jose Clash. In July 2002, he played four games on loan to the Portland Timbers of the USL A-League. The Earthquakes waived him at the end of the 2002 season.
