Scott Donald

Scott Albert Donald is a retired Australian professional rugby league
footballer and played for the Leeds Rhinos
of the European Super League
competition. He was known affectionately as 'Scotty D' by some fans.
Scott joined the Rhinos from Australian team Manly
at the back end of 2005 as a replacement for outgoing winger Mark Calderwood
and made a scoring debut for the Rhinos
against Huddersfield Giants
on 11 February 2006.
Towards the end of the 2006 season he built up a rapport with Clinton Toopi
with the two of them linking up well together. That looks to have continued into this season with them both being at the centre of a number of attacking moves in pre-season.
He was the 3rd top try scoring winger in the league in 2006, with only St Helens' Ade Gardner
and Catalans' Justin Murphy
scoring more tries than he did.
In the 2007 Super League season, He went on to score a total of 20 tries and has still to miss a match for the Leeds Rhinos on completing his third season. In September 2007, Donald was named in the Super League Dream Team. In October 2007, Donald scored a try in the Rhino's 33-6 victory over St Helens at Old Trafford in the Super League Grand Final.
He has been named in the Super League Dream Team
for the 2008
season.
He played in the 2008 Super League Grand Final victory over St Helens.
He then retired in 2010 after the 2010 super league season.
