player. LaValla plays lock for the USA Eagle XV side. He was selected to tour with the USA Eagles squad for the Autumn 2010 tour of Europe. LaValla played his club rugby for Dublin University Football Club
until signing for Stade Francais in Summer 2011. He was elected Club Captain for the 2010-2011 season and Captained the side to a dramatic 31 points to 22 win, in the annual Dublin Universities Colours match, over UCD. LaValla studied Philosophy
and Political Science
while at Trinity College Dublin.
The IRFU introduced the annual club sevens tournament during the 2010-2011 season. LaValla was the winning captain for DUFC.
Scott has also represented the Ulster Ravens during the 2009/10 season
His debut for his Country was at the U20 level in February 2008 against Canada.
On August 22, 2011, LaValla was included the USA squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup
