, released as the second song from her second solo album. It was released on 30 July 2001. The song was written by Halliwell on the day of her first recovery meeting for bulimia. She wrote it about: "the things I did to avoid staying still and deal with my seemings." It was Halliwell's most rock based song that was inspired by her listening to Led Zeppelin the previous summer as encouraged by close friend, Robbie Williams.

Chart performance

The song entered the UK charts in 8th place. The single sold 27,458 copies in its first week, but ended up only selling about 80,192 copies in the UK. Peaking at 8 on the UK charts, "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster" was the lowest-charting single of Halliwell's career at the time.

Music video

A music video was released in 2001, it was directed by Jim Canty and Jake-Sebastian Wynne, whoom previously directed the music video for "It's Raining Men".
