History
The name Secret Harbour was first used by two local businessmen for a proposed marina development which was to include a small boat harbour, and "Secret Harbour" was gazetted by the then Shire of Rockingham on 6 July 1984. While the idea was scrapped due to the area's large swell, the name was retained when Satterley developed the suburb in the early 1990s.Future development
