It reached the top twenty in Sweden and Austria, reaching numbers sixteen and seventeen, respectively. Curiously, the single did not receive great success in France, where it peaked only at number twenty-six, whereas the previous Sandra singles were generally well received.

In 1999, Sandra re-recorded the song and shot a brand new music video for it. This version appeared on her compilation album
