Secretariat is a pantomime horse
which appears on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
.
He originally appeared during the first run of the Disney film Secretariat
, and has since appeared on the show many times.
Typically, Ferguson will introduce him by pressing a button hidden behind his desk which creates the sound of a doorbell, after which he'll shout "Who's that at the door?" Secretariat enters the stage and dances across before exiting again, accompanied by a bouncy, pop music

. Though usually he is shown alone, there have been a few instances where Secretariat crashed into objects: once into a pane of glass which was being carried across the stage, once into 'priceless vase

Ferguson created the 'Secretariat Dance' which consists of standing and extending the arms repeatedly, which he began to do shortly after Secretariat began appearing, and the studio audience is shown doing as well.
Secretariat has appeared in some sketches, the most significant of which took place on January 7, 2011, when a clip was shown of him travelling to New York City
