Area

The area is surrounded by fields and farmland with a mix of social and private housing and sits on the North Western edge of Hertford.

It has a variety of shops located in Fleming Crescent, including a Co-Op, Bakery, Pharmacy, Hairdresser, Butcher, Fish & Chip Shop and a Bookmaker. A Doctors Surgery is located nearby in Tudor Way.
Sele Farm also has a regular bus service to Hertford town centre and the nearby towns of Welwyn Garden City

Sele Farm contains two children's play parks, one in Bentley Road, and the other at the rear of the area on The Ridgeway estate. The Ridgeway adventure playground borders the new Sele Farm community centre and basketball courts, opened in 2007.
