Sen Lin Hu (literally, "Forest Lake") is a Chinese language and culture program under the auspices Concordia Language Villages
, based in Minnesota. As with the other Concordia Language Villages programs, it is a language immersion-based program. Sen Lin Hu was located at Camp Minne-wa-Kan, a Lutheran Bible Camp with somewhat antiquated facilities. It is now located at Maplelag ski resort (still in Minnesota). As its name implies, Sen Lin Hu is located on a lake, and therefore beleaguered with a somewhat dense population of mosquitoes at the time of camp sessions. Sen Lin Hu offers one week "exploratory" sessions, two week in depth "discovery" programs, and four week high school credit programs. Four week credit villagers can earn either the equivalent of one year of high school Chinese or one class of college credit. These intensive courses are somewhat non-traditional since they are conducted in a camp environment and the time is highly condensed. Credit is granted by Concordia College
