. Impressed by his drumming in the video, he was invited to the band. The new drummer recommended James "JJ" Leonard Jr. (guitar
) to the band as another guitar player, he and JJ having been lifelong friends. The band's name comes from the Biblical
story of Elijah.
The group released two EPs
in 2007 and 2008 independently. In August, 2009 the band signed to Tooth & Nail Records
