Sequin Covered Bridge
Encyclopedia
The Sequin Covered Bridge, also called the Upper Covered Bridge, is a wooden covered bridge
that crosses Lewis Creek in Charlotte, Vermont
on Roscoe Road. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places
in 1974.
The bridge is of Burr arch design with an unknown builder. A sign posted in the bridge by the Town of Charlotte identifies the name of the bridge as Seguin (with a G) for one of the families who owned land surrounding it. This is probably most likely the correct spelling based on phone listing research, however the National Register has the bridge listed as spelled with a Q and thus that will be its official name here.
