Sergei Alexandrovich Chetverukhin (born January 12, 1946) is a former Soviet figure skater. He trained at VSS Trud in Moscow
. He is a three-time medalist at the World Figure Skating Championships
and a four-time medalist at the European Figure Skating Championships
, each time coming in behind Ondrej Nepela
. He won the silver medal at the 1972 Sapporo
Olympics.
He was coached by Tatyana Tolmacheva and later by Stanislav Zhuk
.
Sergei Chetverukhin has Russian and Canadian citizenship. He currently lives and works as a coach in Canada, where he moved in 1990 at the invitation of the famous Canadian figure skater Donald Jackson
. He previously worked in Montreal
and later moved to Toronto
