With links to several causes and local groups, members of SewaVolunteers are encouraged to participate in events, campaigns and specific projects that the associated groups and charities put forward.

In 2007, the volunteers participated in a charity skydive that raised in excess of £40,000 for the recruitment of a specialist cancer pharmacist for a local hospital, as well as the printing of leaflets in various languages for women and families suffering from domestic violence.

Some weeks ago, in December 2008, SewaVolunteers organised a candlelight vigil in the financial districts of London to mark their solidarity with the financial capital of India - Mumbai. Almost a 1000 people participated in these events, which gained wide media coverage in the print and broadcast media.
