The album consists entirely of cover songs from the 1980s, an idea that was first proposed to Hodges by Expunged Records founder Anthony Davis. The mastermind behind the band, Josh Hodges, is also in the Portland band Starfucker along with Ryan Bjornstad. Starfucker has released two full albums also with Expunged Records.
