Accident and Soaring Career

At a time when Shashikumar was consider one of the few handsome heroes with able capabilities, he met with an unfortunate accident in his car and had to undergo a lot of surgeries which almost changed his personality. This cost him all the leading roles with huge banners. This also pushed him to take plunge in the politics.
After a long gap, he has made a comeback to cinema and has acted in supporting roles for multi- starrer films like Yajamana, Habba , Yaarige Saluthe Sambala and occasionally leading roles as well.
