He became the judge of a rival comedy program Comedy Circus. He also hosted the show Jab Khelo SAB Khelo on SAB TV. He can be seen on Sony TV as a participant in Jhalak Dikhlaja.
He made his singing debut with a music album named Kuch Khwaab Aise, a collection of eight love ballads whose music was composed by Aadesh Srivastava and lyrics written by Shyam Raj. In December 2009, he appeared as a participant on a reality TV series, Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka based on past life regression.
He has also appeared as a judge in the reality TV show Lux Perfect Bride.
Shekhar Suman has also been featured in numerous Indian advertisements including BPL Washing Machine, Coke, Tide, Polar Fans, Priyagold Magic Gold Biscuits, and Daawat Basmati Rice.
