Shidapu was a goa trance
act consisting of four Israel

In mid 1995 Miki and Oren formed a PC-music group called tRiP, making trance

and other electronic music in formats like S3M, IT, XM, MDL. In late 1995 Erez joined the group and in early 1996 he brought Roy with him.
During six months they created a lot of tracks, without ever seeing each other. Later, with the help of some friends, they moved into the trance scene and their tracks gained popularity at parties in Israel, some tracks like Astral Child, Vertigo, Paradise becoming hits. Their real breakthrough came when the group met Avi Nissim of Astral Projection who liked some of their tracks. They chose the name Shidapu for the band, as they liked the mystic sense of it. The name comes from Sidpao, a Tibet

Shidapu released two tracks on Trust in Trance's Israel's Psychedelic Trance vol. 1: Paradise and Stay Strong, and Vertigo on Israel's Psychedelic Trance vol. 2. During all that time Shidapu did many live shows throughout Israel and Europe. More of Shidapu tracks were release on the TripOut compilation from Starchild Records (basically Miki's project) and The Light of Shidapu out on Shiva Space Technology (basically Erez's project).
Shidapu – as a band - stopped to create music and performing 1997, when Roy and Miki begun their military service in the Israeli army
; with Roy and Miki being soldiers it became impractical to continue the band.
Each of her members chose his different Musical way :
Miki has worked under the names "Domestic" and "Elegant Universe".

Roy quit creating commercial music for many years, until 2005 when he started a progressive techno act Called "MUTe", together with Liran Ackerman. These days, Roy again performs under the name "Shidapu". He also works on new school Goa materials which are to be released under the name "Computer Controlled".

Biography
Shidapu consisted of Roy Sason, Erez Eizen, Miki Litvak and Oren Kislev. The band was founded in 1994 as a group of kids from different parts of Israel (Erez and Roy from the suburbs of HaifaHaifa
