Controversies
The college is facing currently enduring a difficult phase from the year 2010. The suicide of a first year student inside the campus hostel has triggered much campus violence. The student in question was closely related to the chairman of the institution. Allegedly, the student committed suicide as she was rebuked by the chairman, for talking to a male student within the classroom. Following this incident, the chairman has absconded and a new management hierarchy was said to be planned. Ironically, the new management was led by chairman's son. This supposedly new management has rather than plug the violence has only fueled more by interfering in student-teacher affairs and awarding of marks.Other controversies include demand of high fees compared to the facilities provided.
