Economy

Since the economic reform, industrial manufacturing and development have been on the rise in Shunde, especially the manufacture of furniture and electric appliances. Some famous mainland Chinese product brands like Kelon (科龙) or Midea are made in Shunde, Shunde has also opened a new technology industrial park containing well known car manufacturers such as Toyota.

Also with its excellent geographical position for agriculture, Shunde is becoming one of the wealthiest counties in Guangdong
