The same year that he graduated, Suchde became National Champion of college level squash in the US, after the title had eluded him the first three years of his undergraduate life. His freshman year he stood Fourth, Sophomore year third and Junior Year he was runner-up in the same championship. He held the number one spot in Harvard Crimson

After finishing school, Suchde moved to Harrogate, England, where he now lives and trains, but is constantly travelling all over the world to play squash. Being a true cosmopolitan world traveller, he has friends all over the world; his closest friends live in Copenhagen and Kathmandu. He loves Indian food and Bollywood flicks. He is adored by all his peers and by anyone who meets him, so congenial is his nature.
His highest world ranking to date is 71. He is the second highest ranking Indian squash player in the world.
