is in the planning stages. Also a 1,000 home subdivision is planned to be built in the town meaning the population will be over 2,000 within 2010. As of 2011, the population is 130. New subdivisions include Buckhorn 100 homes, Magnolia Place 58 homes, Williams Point 19,Stotts, The Summit, Eagle Harbor, Crossing Crystal Like Commons 1st gated community 28 homes ranging $350,000 to $750,000. This is an attractive town to couple's who want to be out of the triangle but still in close proximity. The county Southern loop which is planned to be built by 2016 will run through Sims which will allow more of a strain on growth. Nearby towns include Rock Ridge.
