Dr. Shaikh Siraj-ur-rehman Farooqui An-Nadwi Al-Madani Al-Qadhi (R.A.) Arabic:(شيقه سيراج أر رحمان فارقي أن ندوي المدني القاضى رحمتعلأ علي )
(April 4, 1941–December 6, 2009) was a Islamic scholar, Muslim apologist, writer, charismatic speaker and Islamic missionary of India

from various religions on the hands of Dr. Siraj. Dr. Siraj was also the Founder and Chairman of the Ummul Mumineen Aisha center of Quranic studies.

. He got his primary education in Depalpur (town near Indore
) from 1947 till 1952. At the age of 11, Moulana Moinullah Farooqui(R.A.)admitted him in Darul-uloom Nadwatul Ulama
(Lukhnow) for middle education (Alimiyat) from 1952 till 1955. Within a very short period of time Dr. Siraj become the favorite student of Maulana Ali miyah Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi (R.A.) one of the most popular scholars throughout the world.
After he completed his Degree of Aalim, he got his secondary education (Fazil) from Darul-uloom Nadwatul Ulama
(Lukhnow) 1955 till 1959.
After completion he got B.A Education (Islamiyyah) from the same institute from 1959 till 1962.After completion Dr. Siraj was selected from amongst thousands of students and went to Madina for higher studies to the University of Medina
Munawarrah (Saudi Arabia
) in 1962 and stayed there until 1965. In 1965 he started working in the field of Da'wah
. After some years due to his interest in religious education he was back in Darul-uloom Nadwatul Ulama
(Lukhnow) for M.A. in Hadith
in 1979.
Upon completion, Dr. Siraj went to Uganda
for spreading Islam
and after 12 years went proceeded to enya] for the same purpose]. He settled in Mombasa for about 30 years.
Guests visiting Maulana Alimiyah normally sat in front of him, however after graduation, whenever Dr Siraj went to visit Maulana Alimiyah, the Maulana asked Dr Siraj to sit next to him on his right side!

at the age of 68. Thousands of people attended his funeral prayer which was led by his colleague Sheikh Abdul Khaliq Tariq. He was buried in Mombasa
