The sisters sponsor a number of health care institutions, under the umbrella of the Sisters of Providence Health System, an affiliate of Catholic Health East. These include Mercy Medical Center, Providence Behavioral Health Hospital, Weldon Rehabilitation Hospital, and Brightside for Families and Children, as well as a diagnostic lab, nursing homes, and home care throughout the region.
