Slaves to Gravity were an alternative hard rock band formed in the summer of 2006 in London, England.
On October 9th, 2011, the band announced they would be breaking up and that they would play their last ever show at Relentless Freeze Festival on October 28th.

Throughout 2007 they toured both the UK and US. They released the singles "Big Red" and "Meantime"; both entered the UK Rock Chart
at Numbers "4" and "3" respectively. Videos released for both received heavy rotation on Scuzz

Their debut album "Scatter The Crow
" came out in 2008 on Gravitas, their own label, founded by Gleeson's father. Four singles were also released from this album; "Big Red", "Meantime", "Mr. Regulator", and "Doll Size".
In this time, the band toured with The Goo Goo Dolls and Brigade. They were also scheduled to tour with Fightstar
but were unable to due to problems with their van.

The new album was released on 15th April, 2011. Singles released included Honesty; the video of which was uploaded to YouTube in August 2010; Good Advice, and Silence Now.
The band also went on tour with Lacuna Coil

in this time.
