At Eurovision
Slovenia chose Maja Keuc as their representative in Düsseldorf in 2011, singing "No one". Having not made it into the grand final since the 2007 contest, Slovenia's hopes were on Maja to get through. Slovenia performed in the second semi final on May 12th 2011 in position 13. Maja performed an extremely good number, winning the crowds over during rehearsals and also in the semi final. After voting, Slovenia qualified for the grand final on Saturday May 14th with a respectable 3rd place and 112 points. Slovenia drew position 20 in the grand final, one of the better positions, and Maja consistently performed very well again song wise. At the conclusion of voting, Slovenia ended in 13th place with 96 points. This result gives Slovenia it's third best effort in the Eurovision Song Contest, the best result being 7th place in 1995 and 2001, while the second being the 10th place in 1997.12 points | 10 points | 8 points | 7 points | 6 points |
