To make the EP each member had to record their own parts of the song from where they were, then send them back to Brad Carter in Los Angeles where they were finally put together. Following the release, Carter invited the other members of Pistol Youth to come visit him in Los Angeles so they could finally meet each other and write music together in the same room. Three tracks from this EP were included on their first album, My Own Private Amsterdam

My Own Private Amsterdam is the first full-length album by Pistol Youth, released in 2010. Six of the thirteen tracks had already been featured in their first two EPs, Smiling Can Backfire and Every Eight Weeks....
