Sneaky Sound System are a Sydney
-based Australian dance music group consisting of guitarist and producer Black Angus (Angus McDonald) and vocalist Connie Mitchell
.
Angus and Daimon met Connie in a park one day as she sat playing guitar to a friend. They asked her to sing for them.
"I thought they were a bit dodgy," recollects Connie. They did, however, have a studio, and when Connie sang on what was to be their breakthrough single, I Love It, Sneaky Sound System had their vocalist – and their eponymous debut album. "We were told by every label we might sell 10,000 copies and it wasn’t worth it", says Angus, "so we decided to do it ourselves." That album went on to become their multi-platinum, ARIA-Award winning debut. Its successor, "2", entered the Australian charts at #1, and Connie has since appeared on albums by Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross.
In addition to their own headline dates, Sneaky has toured with Robbie Williams, Jamiroquai, Scissor Sisters, Sam Sparro, and Lady GaGa, and at festivals as varied as Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Wireless, Global Gathering, Get Loaded in the Park and Oxegen (Ireland), Zomerparkfeest and Mysterylands (Netherlands), Big Day Out, Homebake, Good Vibrations, Live Earth, V Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Stereosonic, MS Fest and Hot BBQ (Australia). They have also performed in New Zealand, the US, Russia, Italy, Spain and Canada.

" was released on 4 September 2009. The Thin White Duke remix of this track spent three weeks in the top 10 of the ARIA club chart, and in the UK reached #1 on both the UK Music Week and DMC club charts in June 2009.
In the UK they released Pictures as their first single on 26 July 2008. It debuted on the charts at ninety-four and peaked at number seventy-six, staying on the charts for a total of two weeks. their second single to be released their "UFO" made its debut at number fifty-two but then dropping to number ninety-nine. Before the release of their debut album in the UK they released a compilation album on iTunes

In January 2009 Sneaky Sound System were one of the headline acts at the annual Big Day Out

for the first time. It was also announced that Sneaky was nominated for a 2009 APRA Award for Dance Work Of The Year for their song "Kansas City". Sneaky (by now just Angus and Connie) collaborated with Tiesto
on his single "I Will Be Here
", and played with Tiesto at his Victoria Park Concert in London on 31 July. The track reached number 1 in the US on Billboard's dance music airplay chart in November 2009. In 2010 Sneaky have been nominated for APRA award Dance Work of the Year for "16".
On 10 September 2009 it was announced that Daimon Downey, aka MC Double D, was leaving Sneaky Sound System to pursue other interests. Black Angus has stated in an interview that the band would remain with its current line-up and that they are in the process of making a new album.
On 17 December 2010 it was revealed that Sneaky Sound System had been collaborating with Jay-Z

and Beyonce for Jay-Z and Kanye's upcoming album "Watch The Throne".
In April 2011 they travelled to Paris and London to film the video for the single "We Love".
On 27 May 2011, the upcoming album's first single "We Love" debuted on Australian radio show The Kyle & Jackie O Show

In August 2011 they announced that their upcoming album, From Here to Anywhere

Early Years
Sneaky Sound System consists of Sydney duo Miss Connie Mitchell and Black Angus (Angus McDonald). They evolved from the hugely successful, and still-going-strong, Sneaky Sundays club night launched in 2001 by Angus and Daimon Downey, who himself was a member of Sneaky Sound System until amicably departing the band in September 2009.Angus and Daimon met Connie in a park one day as she sat playing guitar to a friend.
