Sony Pictures Loot is a newly formed group of developers of Sony Pictures Entertainment
that creates experiences and products for PlayStation Home
. Their products for PlayStation Home that can be purchased from Home's shopping complex include premium personal spaces and different ornaments and costumes for the users personal spaces and avatars. They had originally only released products for the North American version of PlayStation Home. On April 15, 2010, Loot released their first product outside of the North American version, which was to the European version.

The first Stage Set, the Living Room Stage Set from Loot, was made available on May 7, 2009. With the space includes interactive lights, cameras, backdrops and film-related equipment to simulate a real-life studio production environment. The lighting and camera systems allow for a wide range of desired angles, movements, transitions, cuts and lens set-ups that allow users to take control of the technical and artistic aspects. Twelve props and a director's t-shirt come with the space to decorate the set, users have access to the tools necessary to create their own film when hooked up to a video capture system.

was the Ghostbusters Firehouse (originally named the Ghostbusters Firehouse: On Location. This space is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ghostbusters
and it's worldwide release on Blu-ray on June 18, 2009. The Firehouse personal space is a detailed replica of the three floor Ghostbusters headquarters from the original film. The space features the ghost containment unit in the basement, the garage and office areas on the 1st floor, and the living room, laboratory, fire poles, bedroom and bathroom areas. It comes with the first Stage Set's camera functionality, film props and portable blue screens. The space also features the Ecto-1 car that users can get in and by using the blue screens, make their avatar appear as if it's driving the Ecto-1. Another feature of the space is Slimer, a character from the film; users can fly around as him throughout the space. Twenty-one furniture items and ornaments and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man headwear for users avatars also comes with the space. This Stage Set was released to North America on June 18, 2009. On April 15, 2010, this Stage Set was released to the European version and was the first product that Loot released outside of the North American version.
The third Stage Set to be released from Loot is the Modular Stage Set 3. This Stage Set lets users control over three enormous retractable backdrops, which can be set to different chroma key colors with motion track markers. The stage light system offers two additional flood lights for defining the right mood of each take and the floor can also be set to different materials and colors. This Stage Set is available in the "Ultimate Machinima" bundle (along with the "Talk Show" bundle – a collection of props that allows users to dress their personal space like a talk show) as well as separate. This Stage Set was released on November 25, 2010 in both Europe and North America.
On April 7, 2011, Loot released a public game space that's devoted to videos and special events called the "LOOT Space Station".
On May 28, 2009, Loot released two Ghostbusters Fan Packs and a Ghostbusters costume for users avatars which can be purchased in the Threads store in the shopping complex. The first Fan Pack, called the Ghostbusters Fan Pack: Shirts, includes one Ghostbusters themed hat and five Ghostbusters themed t-shirts for the users avatars. The second Fan Pack, called the Ghostbusters Fan Pack: Ornaments, includes five Ghostbuster themed ornaments for the users personal spaces and three Ghostbuster themed t-shirts for the users avatars. The Ghostbusters costume is a replica of the costume used in the original film. On June 18, 2009, Loot released a Ghostbusters 25th Anniversary t-shirt for free in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Ghostbusters.
Loot has since then released many other items for users to purchase from Home's shopping complex. Loot now has a dedicated "LOOT" store in Home's shopping complex in North America.
In May to June 2010, to celebrate a year with PlayStation Home, Loot featured a machinima contest for the Home users. The theme of the contest was "Aliens vs Androids II: The Fight for Freedom". Users got to decide how this fight should end. Each user that was apart of the winning video also received special PlayStation Home rewards with second and third place winners also receiving a reward. This was only open to North America.
