on their own console systems. The Japanese name, Tsukūru is a pun mixing the Japanese word tsukuru (作る), which means "make" or "create", with tsūru (ツール), the Japanese transcription of the English word "tool".
Stories can be saved either on a battery or through the use of removable 8-megabyte memory packs that are used with the Satellaview
subsystem. There is a sequel to this game called Sound Novel Tsukūru 2
for the Sony PlayStation
and the Sega Saturn
