Southeastern High School is a public high school
in Chillicothe, Ohio
. It is the only high school in the Southeastern Local School District. Their nickname is the Panthers. They are in the Scioto Valley Conference. The school is located on 2003 Lancaster Road, Chillicothe, Ohio

Football at Southeastern though not as storied as the basketball team has made two State Playoff appearances. The first appearance was in 1985 and the last in 2001. The Panthers finished the 2001 regular season at 9 and 1, out scoring their opponents 275 to 100. The only loss of the regular season came in a hard fought game against rival Zane Trace. On November 2, 2001 in the OHSAA Division V- Region 20 Football Quarter Final Playoff Game the Panthers met up with the Silver Knights of Bishop Ready. But on that night the Panthers could not overcome the Silver Knights and lost the game 10 to 7.
Southeastern is also known for its highly ranked FFA program, where they have won numerous state and national awards.

History
The Panthers are most known for the sport of basketball in which they have won 17 of 33 SVC Championships since the beginning of the league. 15 won by Coach Larry Jordan and 2 by Coach Dan Easterday.
