The Cherbourg campus is known by the name 'Nurunderi' which means 'Taught by Great Spirit' and is notable for being the only TAFE campus in Queensland to be built on designated Aboriginal land.
is now centred on their Bridge Street Campus (on the former Toowoomba Showgrounds site), around 1.5 km from the Toowoomba CBD. Some services are still at their Hume Street complex (near the new Police Station and adjoining the Empire Theatre on Neil St).
The old TAFE building on the corner of Margaret and Hume Streets was sold and has been extensively renovated as individual office suites.
