(94.37%) together with Sparebankstiftinga Fjaler (5.63%). With 1.8 billion in equity it’s the largest foundation in the western part of Norway, and the second largest in Norway (after Sparebankstiftelsen DnBNOR). Sparebankstiftinga Sogn og Fjordane is governed by the General Assembly, Board and CEO.

The purpose of the foundation is to be a stable and long term owner of Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and take over a part of its social responsibilities, including distribution of gifts to charitable purposes.
