History

On September 28, 2011, Holiday World announced a new Zamperla Vertical Swing ride that will replace the Paul Revere's Midnight Ride. Holiday World did a contest from October 5, 2011 through October 18, to name the new swing ride. Then on November 9, 2011, Holiday World announced the name for the new swing ride "Sparkler" and it will have a new location where the Star Spangled Carousel use to be, and Star Spangled Carousel will be moved to the Paul Revere's Midnight Ride spot that was removed at the end of 2011 season.
