Spazztic Blurr were a joke metal band formed in 1985, in Portland, Oregon

. For lyrics, they sang the alphabet, performed skits, or summarised TV show episodes. They had two releases, "Bedrock Blurr" and "Befo Da Awbum". The second of these albums was released on the Earache Records

In 2007, the Spazztic Blurr track "Mexicali" was included on the Earache 20th anniversary compilation box set "Metal: A Headbanger's Companion".
The main Spazztic Blurr album was reviewed in the influential Thrasher Magazine by Brian "Pushead" Schroeder (himself a member of Septic Death
) in 1988. He described the record as "a wacky, enjoyable platter. Sort of like the ultimate thrash party album."
